Social, Emotional and Mental Wellbeing

At Keane Futures, Social, Emotional and Mental Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. It is not a standalone session or intervention… it underpins every aspect of our provision and is woven throughout all learning experiences and activities.

We recognise that young people cannot fully engage in learning if they do not have the emotional capacity to do so. Building positive relationships, developing emotional resilience, and supporting mental wellbeing are therefore fundamental to helping young people achieve their potential.

Our team creates safe, nurturing, and supportive environments where young people feel valued, understood, and able to thrive. Through consistent support, meaningful connections, and personalised approaches, we help learners develop confidence, self-awareness, emotional regulation, communication skills, and a positive sense of identity.

Whether participating in creative arts, animal care, physical education, life skills, or academic learning, every session is designed with wellbeing in mind. By prioritising social, emotional, and mental wellbeing, we help young people build the foundations they need to engage in learning, develop healthy relationships, and move forward positively into adulthood.
